oh how i hate...but LOVE Oregon

Whatup peeps...just logged in to say hi to everyone.
Been so busy with the job, getting my family relocated, buying a house, etc that I hadn't had any time to even log on here.

For anyone who is wondering...Oregon is GREEN. and it has tons of bugs everywhere, specifically spiders. I mean EVERYWHERE!!!!
    and ants...EVERYWHERE. LOL
People are nice enough...a little too hippie-ish for me at times but there things about it that i love.
    -no sales tax
    -diesel stations everywhere
    -no bullet buttons
    -"standard" capacity magazines

First thing I did when i got my guns up here was strip off the BB. hahaha
and there is no waiting period for a gun purchase...you walk into Cabela's, Walmart, Etc...give them your ID and your money...30 minutes later you're taking that bad boy home.
I simple trip to Cabela's earlier today fixed my California problem...take a look and see.
    Yes, those are 30rd magazine...
No, they are not pinned they actually have 30rd loaded into them...
Yes, it's legal to have them here...
No, they didn't have drum mags there...but i'm getting them delivered soon.

Lots of luck! I already have the mag release button for my AR ready to install - and remove the bullet button

The only time I've ever been to Oregon was when I was born. I should probably visit sometime.

While I'd probably like the weather there better (I'm not a fan of desert heat), I'm pretty used to not dealing with lots of biting bugs here in SoCal.

The Bend area is not that hot. You get some 90's in the summer but not low 100's. Lots of great motorcycle riding roads, lakes and streams to fish and nice people. To each his own. If it makes you happy it does not matter what others think.

When you cross into Oregon, take the BB off and throw it back into Cali.

that's a great idea. they should setup a rest stop on the OR side of the state border for Cali residents to do that. LOL

aren't you headed up here soon?

U of O is on the other side of town. We'll hit up the local indoor range if you come up.
