Sounds goodLet's set some rules for cleanup at end of day.
Near closing time (or whenever leaving), those that brought stuff should take it away, dispose of it properly, share with others for take-home, etc. (which does not mean "just leaving it"). Remember to take your coolers and plates and tongs etc.
Let's not let range personnel have to clean up after us. I'm sure they like tri-tip and sausages as well as the rest of us, but they wanna go home and/or not be garbagemen.
I'd appreciate it if a few folks could help out at end of day in this regard ('round 5PMish) - Edsel6502 and my buddy Felonious Phil have always been helpful but sometimes we don't know what to do with certain things.
I for one wont leave till the clean up is done"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas JeffersonComment

I hope the shoot-n-q is worth the horrible drive up here. Anyway, I'm in Albany, near Gilman, if you need directions, let me know. I plan to leave around 8 or 9 to set up my grill before the main meat dishes show up.UGGGGHHHH!!!!!!
Well, we're finally here. We'll be making the BBQ FOR SURE. Angie brought the Sparkle-15 (we packed REALLY light, only 8 firearms) and she's promised to make 3 apple pies
In other news, I had to get directions to Chabot from the Berkeley/Oakland side of the tunnel because I just realized that I've only ever driven to Chabot from the "Lamorinda" side. Heh.
I'll just keep an eye out for that special license plate.

I grew up in the Bay Area and have been to Chabot a million timesI hope the shoot-n-q is worth the horrible drive up here. Anyway, I'm in Albany, near Gilman, if you need directions, let me know. I plan to leave around 8 or 9 to set up my grill before the main meat dishes show up.

It's where I shot the first gun I ever bought for myself (SKS right at 18), my first .50BMG, took my hunters safety course, and learned how to shoot trap.
But I lived in Moraga, and always took the back way into Chabot from the Moraga hills. My Mom is now in Berkely (right above the Claremont), so I had to get directions from the 13/580 side of the tunnel
Once I get onto Redwood though, Chabot should be pretty easy for me to find. Please read the Calguns Wiki

Bottom of the page:How not to get yelled at:
Jeez. These are not all the rules.
Are the RO's nice? Also, are they OLL friendly? I'd like to go, but not sure I want to truck it all the way down to the bay area only to get yelled at for cleaning a pistol on the "yellow table" or something.Comment
