+1 for trying out several guns before you buy.

Well officially 20 hours from now until I go get my baby ouot of jail over at Irvington Arms. I was nice enough to buy her 4 magazines and also 6 WWB .45 Just found out Reed's Indoor is a little better and is also near my secondary residnce here in Santa Clara. So after I pick her up tomorrow I will be heading over to Reed's for a little First Gun Purchased Celebration

I hope to get to Chabot around 10AM if I am able to kick myself out of bed So yeah, can't wait to meet up with some local members and make some new friends.

Several days later the bolt was rusted shut but I guess the fouling wasnt TOO bad.

The "spare the air" thread gave me the idea to convince my father in law to let me bring his smoker to the shoot n que. I still have to sort out making sure I can go tho...

It would of been far more easy to find blood of unicorn, Giant squid sperm or even Hair of big foot than it has been for me today finding the nesscary ingredients for my chicago chicken. I had to venture down the hill into hippyville and then switchback in and around Oakland. i had planned on visiting a couple of guns stores in between but no such luck. well see you guys and girls next week. Hopefully someones sorted out the BQ apparatus.

Only if you are trying to smoke meat. If you're just trying to create smoke for the sake of making smoke, then it doesn't take long at all.

I'm bringing my gas grill. Somewhere in this thread I mentioned the details about it. Hope it will be easy to figure out where it should be placed.

IIRC last summer for shoot n que the grill brought by M Sage was posted a couple feet from the park benches near the stairs leading down to the range

I might make it out there. It would be great to meet some of the people who have given me such excellent information. Just to put faces to the all these familiar names, ya know.
The heck with shooting, I may go just for the food. It would be fantastic to have a sampler plate of deer steak, tri tip, chicken breast, hot links, and whatever that other stuff is that starts with a B. That would be my Thanksgiving dinner. I really hope I can afford it this close to rent time. lately, I've been diginit on a low budget.

Hey Angie! With all these people, you may have to bake a dozen pies!
And what is apple pie without the alamode? If I can make it that's what I'll bring. Or at least cool whip.
I wish I could guarantee my presence, Right now I'm just not sure...I have 450 rounds for the Mauser, But that's all, Darnit. Maybe I can pick up some 223 at Wally World.
One question...Would a hand written reciept for a C&R rifle get me a free lane? J.
