    Bee Canyon

Bee Canyon, just east of Hemet, has been closed for the remainder of the fire season by the USFS, along with everything else in the San Bernardino Ranger District.

Last year it didn't re-open until mid-December. Hopefully it will re-open earlier this year.

I am hoping to organize a clean-up day with the USFS in the near future and will post in the clean-up forum.

I called the USFS Station in Idylwild (909-382-2921). Also, a friend went up this weekend and the gate was locked.

The Cranston Station posts the fire danger as "Extreme" and everything in the area is really dry, in spite of the cool weather this past couple of weeks.
