    Took my daughter shooting

So I've taken my oldest daughter (12)shooting twice and she loves it. She shot my 10-22 and my s&w 22a. She wants to shoot more often and now my my 7 year old wants to go. Awesome! I bet she would love to participate in the scholastic trap program. It could help her get into a college and possibly win a scholarship. She's at the perfect age to join.

Thats great. I got both of my girls shooting at 13 & 9. They are 14 & 10 now. Both shoot the ar15 and 9mm now. Started they same as yours with 22's. Now they dont shoot the 22's much anymore. I just love watching them shoot. They just get so much better everytime. I also had them both take the hunters safety course at bass pro's. They get the course fee's back as a girt card. So that made them pretty motivated to pass.

I came across some info on this recently and will look into it. I live near triple b shotgun park and noticed they have a youth program.I enjoy shooting and love to get out as much as possible and love that my daughters seem to be getting the bug too.

                Teach them well.

I have a lil girl due in November, my first, and I cant wait for the day to come that I can take her shooting... hell, teach her anything, surfing, swimming, etc.... Simply amazing.

My 11 year old son has a blast, and I take him about 50% of the time I hit the range (and the other 50% is adults only).

When my daughter is old enough to follow directions, I will take her too, but she is a bit pissy and stubborn (like daddy )!

My twelve year from pics above goes out with me whenever i could get her out . I recently took out my 7year old daughter out and she shot her sisters marlin 795 and she loves it too. She wants her own rifle not wanting to share. She is the very spirited of the two and sometimes feels like i would have better luck talking to a wall. So She is a bit more challenging to give direction.
