Sac county went "shall issue", and there are no requirements other than "good cause", clean record, and training.

There is no minimum age, but I did not want to run the risk of being rejected as it would only make it harder to get a CCW in the future.

Really? No minimum age for Sac County ccw? I have my appt in Jan.. Soo far away lol I wonder what will qualify as a "good cause". I wonder if self defense would work.

Even though there isn't a minimum age requirement listed on the Sac County CCW Policies & Procedures sheet, they do in fact require applicants to be 21 years old.

"Self defense" will work to satisfy your good cause in Sac County.

I just spoke with the Captain who oversees the CCW program in Sacramento County. They have a 98% issue rate. Of those who apply, only 2% are being denied.

I've had multiple students between 21 and 29 years old get their CCW's out of Sacramento County.

and i plan to be another one of those. im 25. will probably be 26 when i take the class though.
