I am planning on discreetly gifting a firearms-related gift for a wedding this October. I personally would rather not stick to a registry, kind of boring. I know the couple will enjoy it as they both enjoy the shooting sports.

I'm going to take a guess and say that the two of you are men and everyone saying to stick to the registry is female.

I have most of the month to consider my gift and will put more thought into the class

I'm a female... You do what you want with the gift, I'm sure they will end up with tons of cookie cutter gifts anyway.

If you know your sister well enough to think about it, do it. One of my "adopted" boys got married this year, and my spousal unit suggested giving them her new XD-9, which we did. The thank you card said "BEST GIFT EVER!" PAX

Two of my very good friends got married, both into firearms. For a wedding present I gave them a matched set of Ruger Vanquero's with consecutive serial numbers. Had them custom wrapped at a specialty gift wrapping shop, they had no clue what was in it. Boy, were they surprised!

Glock Guy, you are my hero. Amazingly generous and original.

Capt, I think it's a stunning idea that will be talked about around family gatherings for years. Soon to be Hubby may hate you for her new addiction.. hehe.

She knows firearms are used in the family so it should be no surprise.

Just incase.. make sure the class is refundable.
After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".

Sir, I think your gift is excellent. If her husband to be likes to hunt or go to the range she should want to be included. I went with my spouse to Sierra Elements pistol course to learn how to handle his new glock. The course instruction was so awesome and I had a "blast". I am now a proud owner of a Kimber 1911 TLE, H&K 9m, two AR rifles (One of which Sierra Element designed called the "Lobo"). I now compete in Bullseye and Special Ops Combat training. Is it a good gift? I say absolutely! If I might suggest Sierra Element.com this team of highly qualified LAPD, Marine snipers can deliver and make her confident in a male dominated environment. Their courses are awesome. Nice choice.
