My sister is getting married at the end of the month. I was trying to think of a present, but didn't want to do the classic gift of kitchenware. I was at the gun store looking to buy a gun for myself when I asked if they had any advice on a pistol course for myself. I'm going to do a private lesson with the guy sometime this month.
the beginner pistol class is 4 hours long with the majority of it actual shooting. My sister is new to guns and her soon to be husband has hunted quail and dove with me a few times, but doesn't own any guns and is still at the beginner level of shooting.I would pay for the class and provide pistols and ammo, a .22 for my sister and a 9mm for her husband.
I thought the gift would be nice because it's a life skill that could save there lives. My sister has loosely talked about getting her ccw when I apply for mine so I have a feeling she would benefit from it.
Is the gift a gift only a man would enjoy and not really a wedding gift or is it a good wedding present.
