Hey all. I am new here and recently purchased a H&K P2000 for home protection, but love to shoot as well. I would love to meet up with some peeps and hit the range and occasionally take trips to shoot outdoors as well. I have a 1 month old baby, but the man is happy to watch him on the eves and weekends so I can go play. I am in San Jose and would like to stay fairly close- or make plans for adventure. I used to shoot a lot as a kid, but honestly haven't been shooting for almost 20 years. Ideas?

Have you found people to shoot with? My husband and I (and other friends) meet over at Reed's in Santa Clara on wednesday typically at 7pmish. You're more than welcome to join us.

The San Jose muni range over by Logitech Ice has some women specific shooting events and I like it better than Reeds.

They have tactical shoots so you can practice with a holster if that is your thing.
