Thank you guys for listening, I was upset from the original post however you have really shed light and reminded me why I go to the booths and share the word of CGN, lol. All the advice, tips and friendships are well worth it.

I never ever ever expected to be coddled and very much expected to be treated like any man on the line... Most men I know would have probably yelled expletives, however I am a lady... And just yelled them in my head while my blood was rushing. Lol. Prior to FS, I've had brass thrown at me, men yelling at us during malfunctions drills, noise screaming anything to provoke stress.... I am far from thin skinned but most of the yelling and brass throws were done for my benefit... Not my instructors.

The sadest part as LAIKA reminded me, were the two other ladies that left, it was really unfortunate, hopefully they don't let it get to them and discourage them from shooting.

Two women had to leave early? Just not acceptable. But you can certainly hold your head up, thank you for taking the risk to discuss it on the forums.

I'm glad to have you and my other Calguns friends too

It's interesting that the men I've come across in both fishing and shooting who behaved badly were the ones who seemed pretty insecure. Some of the best guys in either sport have been good-humored and very encouraging of beginners trying to improve themselves.

Olive, look at it this way... you be a pioneer!
