There is no requirement by UPS Corp. to demand any paperwork. The BATF also says to FFLs to not give out a copy of their FFL to non-FFLs, so the most you might have is the ezcheck printout.

If you tell me where exactly you went, I can see if the person I know of at UPS Corp. is still there and have him call them. He has solved UPS problems for me in the past.

Over the years some locations make things up and claim it is a requirement. Corp. can set them straight. I will try to check on this on Monday.

total shipping cost was 75 bucks for next day air and insurance , my FFL charged me a whopping $0.00 and will be getting all my business this year for doing all this for me she would not accept anything for her troubles

so here is a shout out for "survival country" in Red Bluff CA. Tehama county if you are looking for a FFL

Yeah you'll be out the bucks. Did the receiving FFL know the package was coming? Do you know if they got a copy of the tracking or are they on vacation?

Well hopefully whoever you sold it to paid for all this mess! I would hope the person receiving is all over their dealer. It isn't your fault it didn't make it there.

buyer paid 50 in shipping i ate the other 25 and gas costs, he is in France right now until the 29 so not sure how much help he will be, but emailed him also to let him know ...

at this point I am just going to try to forget about this deal and let the buyer and FFL's deal with it as I dont think I have any interest in the gun anymore once it goes into the FFL's acquisition book and out of the book to the buyers FFL do I ?

it's technically yours until it gets DROSd on the other end or if the buyer fails DROS. All depends how you wrote up your bill of sale (if any).
