I answer a lot of questions myself, but so far no one seems to want to pay.

Being a new FFL, I wouldn't mind paying a reasonable fee for training. Really just having some who truely knows what they are doing do an "audit" so I know I am doing everything 100% correct. I have gained a bunch of info here, read the ATF and DOJ materials repeatedly, but would like the peace of mind of knowing for sure I am good to go. I use the checklist from RK which gives me some assurance.
I joined CalFFL to support the cause, but hope their question and answer section goes live soon. Seems like a service that would be included in membership.

There is more than just an audit, in part it is talking to you in order how you do business. Sales tax is harder to discover in an audit.

There are companies which do audits, but I don't know if they do an audit for CA, I think it is mainly for the Federal issues.

One of the main things is to know to ask questions when you don't know something. Military is something which is more difficult and even some IOI don't know what is written on the 4473.
