Question to all California FFL's

Received head of Agency Bulletin via DES today. No LEO transfers with wait exemption unless agency head signs letter. This means no watch commander, department head or Big boss underlings signing exemption letter, ONLY the Sheriff of the County or City Chief of Policy or State Corrections Officer Leader will be able to authorize 10 day wait exemptions going forward.

man, that's crazy. even ATF lets underlings sign on behalf of the CLEO for Machine Guns (or other Title II stuff)

Have any dealers seen the new CHP letter?

The form has the Commissioner’s & a Supervisor’s signature on it, but the Commissioner’s signature is printed on the form so it's not a "wet" signature.

Any thoughts?
