Agree it would be a really hard sell to say your carrying Desert eagle, or a Ruger 8" Blackhawk in .44 mag for a duty type weapon.

This was exactly my question. As these are police duty type firearms that I am authorized to carry on or off duty. Are the original, Glock locks GTG or since they are over 5 years old I have to buy new ones. The Mdl 92 's, Smith 66,s Mdl 60 and 36 did not come gun locks.

I was wondering as noted above did I have to buy more locks or claim LEO exemption for on duty or off.
