            got a email today

I just wanted to pass along that my recommendation for your license to be issued as been approved and the licensing center has been notified to process issuance. Please let me know if there are any questions. Thanks!
            SWEET!

so 4 months from mailing to issuance authorization

Got my COE in the mail yesterday; it took longer because I forgot to put a phone number on the application so it got sent back to me.

                  Now I just need a CFD # and I'm g2g.

I just sent out my packet for the CFD list this past Monday. Hope it doesn't take too long. In the meantime, I'm looking on where and how to get certified to give out the HSC, insurance, Payment system, and business banking setup.

Let me know how long on the CFD. I'm filling out mine this week. Got my COE and everything else done - figure I should finalize this process now!

Finally got my CFD folder full of paperwork in the mail today! Got my HSC instructor app on the way and will be finishing off the rest of the process in the next couple of weeks and hopefully I'll be ready to make my first big inventory purchase by August 1st. Have a line full of family, friends, and coworkers just waiting for me to get going.

Some advice, get 2 bank accounts, purchases and tax. Every week make a deposit into that tax account for sales tax collected and DO NOT USE IT FOR PURCHASES. If you end up moving a lot of guns you will find yourself in a big hole come the end of the year/quarter when you have to file sales tax.

Don't mess with the BOE and sales tax, they'll hurt ya just as much as the DOJ or ATF.

Thanks for the tip man. Have any recommendation as far as what banks are gun dealer friendly?? I currently have a wells fargo, and Kern schools federal credit union personal banking account. I was going to try Chase and now would like to set up two business accounts.

We have Chase not gun friendly by any means but they work. Keep $15k in the account and they charge you $0 for the accounts EXCEPT for when you deposit too much cash. We get dinged for a few dollars every month because I guess the max you can deposit in cash a month is $25k.

Go figure, get penalized for depositing too much cash into a bank. Retarded.

I'll give chase a try. Doubt I'll move that much cash in and out like you since this is a side business. If I can make that much cash per month like you, I'll definitely look into my future work plan haha.
