    Delayed delivery form response period

We have a client that has been on DROS delay for about 40 days. We completed the new DROS delay submission form and faxed it to the DOJ. It has now been 5 days with no response. Isn't DOJ required to respond within 3 days? Thanks.

Yes they have 3 days to respond. I'm not sure what happens if they don't.

I just submitted another form 991 today. I'll report back to this thread if I don't hear back within the 3 days either.

I submitted a Form 991 approximately 9:40am 1/13/14 for a DROS originally submitted 5/5/13 (approximately 245 days earlier) and notified of a Delay Deliver 5/14/13. No response after 3days, so I left separate voice messages at 916-227-4010 and 916-227-2153 approximately 4:30pm 1/17/14. Will report if I hear anything back.

Is it 3 business days or just days? If so it's the weekend and a holiday Monday.

I just checked DES and the buyer was "approved after delay" today. 48 hours after the 991 was submitted.

                  I'd guess 3 calendar days.

Where in the hell are the Form 991s? Seriously, I am pretty patient with all of this crap, but so far 2014 is a horrible year for FFLs in this pathetic state.

Based on what they sent us it should be here:
The following Bureau of Firearms forms and publications are currently available online: Forms Update: These forms now contain fields you can fill in electronically. To do so please: Download the form by clicking on the link Save to your computer Enter in the data into the fields. Please note: Users have reported issues printing PDF documents while using Google Chrome. If you experience any issues with printing while using Google Chrome, please try saving the PDF document(s) and opening it locally with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Then, you can fill out and print the document(s) as needed.

But it isn't. They told me to look at my bulletins and pull it out of the AB500 notice. I think it's page 4 on that pdf.

I kept what they sent me in the physical mail and have been making copies because I can't find them under forms either.

That's what I was doing to.. I actually did a "Report an Issue" and complained that I couldn't find it on the forms site like the paper said...that's when I got the 'official' response to find it in the bulletins.
