Now that all long guns will need to be sold through an 01 FFL, do I still need to keep up my bound book for rifles that I sell?

if you still have an active 03FFL, you must still log all the disposition of all C&R fireamrs that you buy or sell while you are licensed. it doesn't matter how the firearms are transfered to the end buyer, you still need to log the outgoing transfer (in this case, you would log it out to the 01FFL).Jack

And this is needed in order to comply with Federal laws/regulations.sigpic

If the purpose of the govt is to have a paper trail of C&R sales, then the 01 FFL is the best avenue for that, no?
In short, without a COE, the 03 is useless to me, and I am denied equal protection under the law compared to other states. Except that you can go out of state and purchase C&R firearms when you have a C&R FFL, whereas others can not.Kemasa.

Pardon my ignorance, but if you get a CoE, does that make it so you can have all firearms shipped to you or just C&R as an 03?Dear ISIS, Texas is not known for their gun free zones.

If you have a C&R FFL and a COE then you can have C&R long guns shipped to your house, as long as the seller isn't a California dealer.__________________

2nd question. If you're an 03 + have the CoE, do you still DROS a C&R if it comes to your door if it is for yourself?Dear ISIS, Texas is not known for their gun free zones.

You only need to DROS when you are buying from or through a California dealer. C&R long guns that C&R FFLs have shipped to their doors have to be self reported by mailing in a form with payment to CalDOJ.__________________
