Actually, it sounds quite possible to me.

Sharing an experience is fine, but when some of the details make it look suspect and like the person is attempting to make things look far worse than reality, then others have a right to question what actually went on.

Not if you run a business.

I had a very pleasant experience there at that same timeframe.
I went there for a C&R Colt Government Model.

Tim also knows the law and when he saw my 03FFL and COE,
he said, "It's your lucky day, you get to take this home today!"
"Your exempt from the 10 day wait."

I drove to his shop from where I live here in the SF bay area,
bought the gun, and drove home with it all in one day.

Anyone running a business is a human and humans are not perfect and mistakes happen. If you expect a business to always be perfect, then you are going to be disappointed. Also notice that this was posted BEFORE calling Fort Courage. That is generally not a good idea, nor fair.

Now that is funny!!! It is amazing how many customers I have had who refuse to even set foot in that place. One actually said that if he won a firearm (FNRA), he would not pick it up if they were the FFL.

OPs complaint is valid but in life poop happens and things get derailed. He's upset and the store is not in his neighborhood. I can understand why he would choose not to go back.

I've had no problems with Tim and Fort Courage. I think he is the easiest to deal with and I'll continue to pick him over the folks at Greta's.

I don't disagree that some aspects of the OP's complaint is valid, but I think that the OP is trying to make things look far worse than it really is, as previously said. When someone does that, I have to wonder about everything which is said.

Just look at the issues claimed about saying that he thought that his wife sent the check and trying to attack based on the date of the check. If Tim thought that he told his wife to send it, but didn't, then of course the check date would not be in the past. If he had, then the check would have been sent. Instead, the OP tries to make everything some sort of plot against him.
