    NRA endorsed CC processing

Is anyone using Payment Alliance for your credit card processing? They advertise on gun blogs and claim to be sponsored by NRA and NSSF.

If you have been using them, then for how long? Any issues? Any surprise fees pop up that they were not forthcoming about at sign up? Any better deals out there for Firearms Dealers?

They are the only ones that will let you sell mail order or internet. Everyone else is in person sales only. I haven't had any issues but they are pricey.

The one I am asking about works also off an internet site. I log in, enter the customers info and get an authorization. I don't have a store front so it is all internet or phone and I would be using the internet site and not calling in by phone as that is additional charges.

I am not impressed by NRA's sponership but the NSSF one means more to me. Just want to find out if others have used this and get their input. And just to add, they found me about 6 months ago, I am sure NRA sold them my information, but I did not sign up then. I have been seeing them advertise on several gun blogs and I am going to do this when I find the right company.

I was also looking in to chase since I have my business account set up with them, but your saying they won't allow internet sales of firearms? that sucks. I'm going to have to check now before I sign up with paymentech, It's funny, the banker I was dealing with to set up my business account suggested paymentech for my online firearms website. I'll be pissed if thats true.

the bankers and the paymentech company are totally separate they dont know squat about each other. most companies wont allow online sales of firearms or they don't mention it and when they find your selling any weapons (even tasers) they yank you. authorize.net told us after using them for a few months we arent allowed to sell accessories related to firearms...

I have been using Payment Alliance for 5 months. No issues whatsoever. They have integration with QuickBooks and a web interface that is accessible from any device. Works great on the iPad!

I tried using Square prior and they canceled my account after they found out I was selling firearms.

CC merchant processors all pretty much SUX AZZ when it comes to firearms....they'll close your acct w/o notice....hold your funds...etc

Payment Alliance is good for guns but they aren't the cheapest....so you gotta pay ta play....

Comparing puts them about the same as the others if you use the internet site for processing. I went line by line on the charges and had each explained to me, however, I am not the sharpest Knife in the business drawer so I can be fooled. Getting input from you guys is the best way I know to go about this. I over come my stupidity by going to people who know and taking thier advice.

Just started using Payment Alliance and EProcessing network in the past month with no issues. Even got a portable credit card swiper to use with our phone at the gunshows. Pay-pal, Authorize.net and a number of others won't even let you sell components for ammo. I went through a few of these and just kicked pay-pal to the curb recently.

My only gripe about getting the set up going was that EProcessing Network and Payment Alliance took a bit to get coordinated to set up. Took about 3-4 calls in to figure out why the accounts were not linking. Once I got it going it has been running smooth.

I use these guys. Have been for 2 years and using authorize.net for all online stuff. Never had a problem and they knew I was mainly online sales from day 1. All the fees were documented and never had an issue. They settle 72 hours after you capture funds.

EDIT: Looks like the terms of service for authorize.net states Firearms prohibited. I guess I'm lucky I haven't been nailed yet. Perhaps because I'm using the service through First National Merchant Services. Not sure..
