OK guys, help me out here. Where are you finding locks cheap enough to give away or sell for $5? The best price I have found for a DOJ listed lock is Cheaper then dirt at $7 and some change with shipping. I sell them for $10.95 including tax and typically don't have a problem. I only buy them about 12 at a time.

Check or DAC locks at any of your major firearms wholesalers.

Are you a dealer and buying from Cheaper than Dirt? This is horrible. Absolutely horrible.

I paid $9 for a cheap made in china cable lock from Fine Firearms in San diego area; probably cost $2 wholesale, so a few extra bucks for the dealer!

Like I said, I got mine at walmart- the cheapy CA-DOJ approved winchester cable lock. $5.

The typical Project Childsafe lock is a Pro-Lok GL710 and that is on the approved list under Pro-Lok in addition (apparently) to being listed under Child Safe as mentioned above.
