Question about FFL licensing

Hello,

I would like to start up a small business in firearms, i was wondering what is the easiest way of obtaining a FFL? Is it possible to sell from ones home? Would zoning issues and city ordinances come into in being the deciding factor?

Also, i'm assuming it would be advisable to have a store front property. So that your home isn't the subject of a inspection audit.
