A shop here in Sacramento is having them fabricated locally.

Sorry I have no details I just have seen the barrels in the pistols at the store. Don't really know anything other than they had them custom made.

I just ordered some of those Diamondback DB380 extended barrels so I could try the same thing.

The problem with asking other dealers how to do single shot exempt parts is no one wants to share as they want to keep their market. Us Calguns FFL Forums Regulars ought to start working together on these things. For the most part none of us really compete anyway.

Exactly, especially since most other dealers don't ship the SS firearms anyways.

Whats sucks about the LCP is you can't buy just the barrel.

I have a Ruger LCP barrel that I made from a barrel blank. It was a bit of work to say the least. Better off just buying a LCP and putting an extension on the barrel. Did the same with the DB380.

I have had several people call me and ask about single shot parts. I always tell em how I make them. I have sold some to people, and I have talked people out of buying them from me and into making them for themselves if they have equipment. Some of them are super easy to make and some of them are more trouble than they are worth. (541) 702-6216 if you have any questions. (during business hours of course or it will go straight to voicemail).

All with plain old 1/2 pipe from Home Depot / Lowes. The LCP was more of a pain since I really should have used smaller pipe but had none readily available, so I just put the barrel in the slide and welded it. If this CA List silliness ever goes away I'll chop off the barrel and have a slightly used LCP.
The question is are they functional? I'm not sure if I want to shoot a round down some of those and if a customer doesn't come back in right away and decides to go shoot it, is it going to blow up and are you going to be on the hook for it?

Just make sure you can safely put a round down range with them.

Not leaving the store? I think I want mine to at least go out the door and come back in. I guess it really doesn't matter.
