    P250, On DOJ or not?

Here is a portion of the DOJ list which states the a Compact P250 in 9mm is eligible. However, there is not "two-tone" available according to the Sig Website. Does anyone have further details. I have two and most likley will put them on GB.

    P245 (Two-Tone) / Steel, Alloy Pistol 3.9" .45 ACP 4/7/2011
    P250 Compact (Two-Tone) / Stainless Steel, Polymer Pistol 3.9" 9mm 12/30/2011

IIRC, that P250 that is listed is a special CA version that has a magazine disconnect.

And again, this is why the list is sooooooo stupid. I don't see anything on DOJ's listing that says anything about a CA compliant version. If a customer wants a "P250 Compact (Two-Tone) / Stainless Steel, Polymer Pistol 3.9" 9mm 12/30/2011" they can have it as far as I'm concerned. Mag disconnect or not.

The problem is there is not two-tone available.

When I had a P250 two tone in 9mm it did not have the magazine disconnect.

As a dealer who doesn't know much about Sigs, if the pistol meets all of those characteristics, I am selling it. I don't know if there is one or not nor do I care. If it says P250, is two tone, and has a 3.9" barrel, I am DROSing it. If one has a mag disconnect and one doesn't, I don't care either one gets DROSed if has those characteristics.

I have a link to a two-tone P250 compact, http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/Sho...&productid=212 , but it says not CA-compliant. The Sig site is poor, doesn't let you look up any options other than size.

The roster says this is allowable:

                P250 Compact (Two-Tone) / Stainless Steel, Polymer

The link to the Sig website lists an item number not listed on the 2011 price list.

Email me a reminder and I'll chase this down at Sig in the AM.

                  +1 to this.

Earlier I read this thread and went out and found a 9mm P250 two tone with a 3.9" barrel at a distributor. It did not say anything about CA compliant but if a customer wanted it, I would DROS it. It fits the bill. Some roster guns have SKU's. This one does not so I have to go by the roster only.

I am always looking for Beretta D models in 9mm or a Compact Type M.

Why not DROS a new Glock? The roster says "17 / Steel, Polymer" it doesn't say anything about a Gen 1, 2, 3, or 4

because a Gen4 Glock says "17Gen4" on the side as the mode, not "17"

I know the 17 RTF is listed but it doesn't say RTF on the side of it. How would some hilbilly dealer know to DROS that as a 17RTF2. Especially if they didn't have the original box and/or label? The 17 Gen 4 is still a model 17

I don't care either way. I'm just saying it's obviously not clear. Especially when they don't have a SKU listed.

perhaps the label on the box says that the model is a 17RTF2 or something, I dunno Just like I'd assume that the box of a 17Gen4 would say tht on the box. But, I agree, there is confusion on what is, and isn't listed. Which is why you occasionally hear stories about dealers that do DROS bone-stock Gen 4 Glocks to Joe Public

                            Ruger is the worst.

I doubt a dealer could get into any real trouble for DROSing a 17 Gen 4 to Joe Public. It seems to me like it would be fairly easy to defeat the charge in court. I'm suprised everyone doesn't just sell them.

There are some old threads on here when the Kahr P380 was first added to the list and it didsn't have a SKU. Some people rushed out and bought the non roster ones and people were high fiving the guys that got them.
