Want to purchase multiple Complete Lowers

So I want to order 5 complete lowers from an out of State forum sponsor. My local FFL (with whom i've done about $3000 of business with in the last 3 months) is telling me $90 each.

My question is not about how high the price is, but would most FFL's charge me their out of state transfer fee per lower 5 times, or how would most go about handling such a transaction.

Each FFL decides how they want to charge people. I give a discount for each additional firearm transferred at the same time, but I charge for each firearm and I charge a different amount for a handgun vs. a long gun. Others, such as Fort Courage, will transfer multiple firearms (up to three) for a base fee. I also give a discount to members of firearms rights organizations.

I assume that the $90 includes the DROS fee, correct? If so, you should get that discount for the rest since only one DROS fee is needed for any number of long guns transferred at the same time. If you don't get a discount, you are paying $100 more than you should or you should demand that they fill out 5 DROS :-).

To be quite honest, at that price, it might be worthwhile for you to drive down this way.I would do it for half the price, well, actually, it would be much less than that as it would be around the price of one plus sales tax, including DROS, if you are a member of a firearms rights organization.

Don't know where you're at, but check out T & A Armory's website. Their FFL transfer fee goes down with every additional lower.

They are in Santa Ana, CA ... Orange County, SoCal.

Wow, I'm assuming that's $90 for each lower, plus the DRoS fee? So $475 on top of what you already paid? You could do that here in Woodland for a mere $85 plus DRoS and you'll still come out ahead even with gas haha.

Drive over to Taft. That would be $50 for all five lowers plus $25 for DROS for a total of $75. If they are coming from another retailer then I have to collect the sales tax on your purchase price as the BOE considers me the retailer. I also have uppers in stock ready to go too!

I also forgot, buy any other long gun from me and I will waive the $50 transfer fee.
