I think I need to stop my bad practice of taking dealers Ca. approved list as up to date. Davidsons still has the Smith&Wesson SD9 VE on there, and I belive Lipseys had the Bond Arms derringers still. The last SD9 VE's I had sold well, was going to order a couple more, and just happend to be on the roster looking something up and noticed they fell off last month "kinda strange time". So glad I caught it, would have sucked to get stuck with them. -

Well, i read the bulletin. I have one that was on 10 day hold until yesterday at 5.45 (we close at 5) and the time change did this to make his delivery time after we closed. Its the USP45 V1 Black frame thats specifically mentioned in the bulletin. The des is showing approved and deliver gun. Can I deliver it? On hold with customer support number provided in the bulletin....Customer just called to make sure he was good to go. I said yes, because it showed approved etc. Then read the bulletin that I had printed, his DROS was still up on my screen and I was like Holy Crap. What do I do?Interstate Transfers $100 (DROS included with the price)

It was on the roster when you DROSed it. No different than a gun being on the roster end of December and then falls off in January. IMHOWell, i read the bulletin. Not true- If a gun is removed from being expired because they didn't pay you can deliver. If the gun is removed because the CADOJ says its unsafe you can not.
This situation you are not allowed to deliver. I had to offer refunds to two in DROS customers today.
32015.
(3) If a purchaser has initiated a transfer of a handgun that is listed on the roster as not unsafe, and prior to the completion of the transfer, the handgun is removed from the roster of not unsafe handguns because of failure to pay the fee required to keep that handgun listed on the roster, the handgun shall be deliverable to the purchaser if the purchaser is not otherwise prohibited from purchasing or possessing the handgun. However, if a purchaser has initiated a transfer of a handgun that is listed on the roster as not unsafe, and prior to the completion of the transfer, the handgun is removed from the roster pursuant to subdivision (d) of Section 32020, the handgun shall not be deliverable to the purchaser.Last edited by BONECUTTER; 03-18-2022, 4:03 PM.Comment

Looks like you're right. Most of the guns listed except the USP 45 have not been made in a couple years and a couple of these guns have never been made. This is weird stuff.
I had USP 45's inbound from HK and i guess they are turning them around.

CA DOJ BOF is indicating that the H&K USP pistols are being removed due to 11 CCR 4070(c).
California Code of Regulations Title 11 Division 5 Article 9 Section 4070
Roster of Certified Handguns.
(c) A handgun model may be removed from the Roster for any of the following reasons:
(1) If the annual maintenance fee is not paid as set forth in Penal Code section 32015, subdivision (b).
(2) If it is determined that the handgun models submitted for testing were modified in any way from those that were sold after certification was granted.
(3) If it is determined that the handgun is in fact unsafe based upon further testing.Last edited by Quiet; 03-19-2022, 1:35 PM.sigpic
