    Sig P365 Sale/Transfer Question

    Hello,

While living in CA a few years ago, I used the interfamilia transfer program via FFL to transfer the p365 from my Dad in FL to me in CA. The Sig is registered in CA. I have since escaped from CA to FL.

Question: Can I legally sell the gun in CA? I certainly do not want to break any penal codes!

    Thank you.

Are you in CA and have a CA DL/ID? If so, then yes.

If not, then you can still sell to CA but only to those exempt from the roster, for likely the same amount you’d get selling in FL without dealing with shipping.

So why not sell in FL?

Copy. Shredded the CA driver license and have FL now. So, I could do an interfamilia transfer to my sons/daughter who are still in CA.

I was "hoping" to sell it for 1500 in CA - I heard they were selling for that amount. Oh well, I'll just keep it and practice more with it.

      Thanks for the info!

You should have sold before you moved. You could have gotten yourself a new one and one for the kids with what you could have sold it for.
        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Yeah, should of, could of, would of.....I was too busy.

At least all of the mag locks are off my ARs and the ten round mags are boxed up.

Yup. Anyone leaving CA should let the rest of us buy any off rosters that they can buy at their new home.
