    Glock 36?

I'm seeing two versions of the Gen 3 M36 for sale. One with a rail and one without. The current production model is the one with the rail.

Can you transfer a new production railed model 36 to a non-exempt person?
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

"No Generation 4 or Generation 5 Glock handguns have been approved
No Glock handguns made in the USA have been approved"

What Gen and where was it made? That should answer your question. Unlike some other listings, Glocks are not listed by SKU number.

How do we know it is off roster? Roster just says Gen 3 Austria.

If it does not have a rail then you can purchase it new from a retailer as it is on roster. hope this answers your question I don't know if I'm missing something in what you're asking
This^^. And no, Glock doesn’t make the rostered version anymore. They added the railed feature several years ago which was not submitted for testing. Which is required by law when changing the gun from its tested version. It was not eligible for roster testing without micro stamping.

                  Wow, too much verbiage.
Simple, if you have an ffl that will do the used railed or no railed transfer for you, it's fine. Ffl follows rules. With a very low capacity, not really a gun to start adding a bunch of tactical stuff on tho... In my humble opinion. I have a G36 I had undercut and lava grip added I'd sell. Good ccw, not for smaller hands, but shoots more accurate than the same size mag, G43. Has just 300 rnds.
