So I have my first DOJ inspection coming up in about a month (they were kind enough to give me a heads up) and I was told to essentially make available a years worth of transactions. In an effort to make sure I'm not missing anything, is there anyway to pull up say, 1/1/19 to 12/31/19 on the DES system? Not sure if anyone's had any success or not. I did try calling the DES support line and the person I spoke to didn't sound really confident with yes or no either way--he simply recommended hunting around the site, which I did to no avail. I just wanna make sure I have all my ducks aligned.

I'm not sure what help it would be to be looking up things on the DES for the DOJ when you are getting inspected. If your paperwork is incorrect, they are inspecting, you're are going to get dinged on it.Im a genuine E-thug, because talking s**t in person is dangerous.Comment

Agreed, sort of---things are either going to be there or they're not. I don't need to re-create anything, I'd just like to confirm what they show is what I have. I'm a home based FFL so I don't have a ton of business, just wanna be as prepare as I can.Comment

You are required to keep all the DROS for 5 years, so you should be able to just go back to go through the paperwork as it needs to be filed chronologically. You could also look at the invoices, which lists the DROS number on it.Kemasa.

Yeah, I had less than 50 transactions for the year, so it's not like volume is my issue!Comment

They re-check everything next time they come. If you get repeated dings for the same issue that's when there will be a problem.UG Imports - Fremont, CA FFL - Transfers, New Gun Sales
