You read it entirely and correctly. In my reply to OP's issue, I brought up another example (1-30) that some FFL still does not know. OP reply asking what evidence I used to educate that FFL.

The problem as I see it is that the C&R FFL doesn't have his current residence address on it. I am not sure that makes it a no go, but it is a warning sign which needs to get checked into.

I could see it both ways, but one question is where the C&R items are being stored since if the C&R has a different address and that isn't where it is actually being used, that is a problem.

I don't know any issues in which it couldn't be at the actual residence address, which makes me wonder about it more.

For whatever it is worth, I previously filed a request for an updated 03 FFL to update my address, and I am not making any more C&R acquisitions until the updated license is sent to me.

I checked with the people I know and trust and the answer is No! The address on the C&R doesn't match the information which is required for the DROS, so the waiting period exemption would not apply. You can agree or disagree, but personally I have to go with those who I know and trust, as well as who might inspect my records and when they say no, that is what I have to go with. Personally, I can see it either way, but it certainly isn't clear.

There is no reason why the address on the C&R FFL couldn't be a San Francisco address that I am aware of. It isn't a dealer license and they don't have to approve, just be informed.

Yeah we have decided to avoid any further headache and just DROS it as if a normal handgun with the 10 day waiting period.

Good idea, but you also need to check with the BATF to make sure that there isn't an issue with having a C&R FFL at an address that you don't live at. You don't want future problems.

As far as I know, there shouldn't be an issue with having a C&R FFL listed at your residence address, regardless of where you live, as local government doesn't approve it, they just get informed about it.
