It is nice that they put the version on the web page so that you know what it is without having to download it, well, in my dreams perhaps.

Should I be insulted that the answer key has answers in Spanish on it? Doesn't quite make sense to me if the DES system doesn't have a Spanish option.. I guess you can have instructors that only know Spanish and never run a DROS.. If that were the case then shouldn't the answer key have a complete Spanish version and not just True/False in Spanish?

Huh? There is an English version and Spanish version of the tests and answer sheet.

Answer Key -- the instructions for the key are in all English. If you had the need for a True/False on it in Spanish then I must assume the person grading would want to be able to read the instructions in Spanish, but that is in English. Such as the section that says "This answer key should be kept in a secure place and out of sight at all times."..


Even the word CONFIDENTIAL Is only in English.

So .. if the person using the answer key ONLY knows Spanish..well then they'd have a perfectly valid reason for laying down the answer key face up in front of the test taker..

Ahh, I suspect they basically only allow people getting the FSC to know only Spanish. The website is only in English and I suspect if you call and only speak Spanish you will have a problem. Your FFL is only in English as well. The DROS is only English too.

Exactly..so why add True/False in Spanish on the answer key? Makes no sense..

Yeah it's on the PDF, but I think Kemasa was saying on the Resources web page so you don't have to download it and zoom in to see that.

Yes, this. How do you know any of the files have been updated? You have to download them all and look at them.

Or, better yet, some bulletin or announcement that it’s available? However, they have us trained pretty well not to expect much when it comes to this stuff

Which is what I kinda did but only after looking closely and saw what looked like 2019 in the corner

I did need to DL to verify. I just figured there would be no announcement and kept checking

Sadly yes. They just silently change things and expect people to know to use the changed files. Perhaps it is so that when they don't they can write them up for it.
