You can also check his FFL for validity and make sure everything on the copy of his License matches by using FFL ez check when you do the transaction.

Which is good, but the best part is ...

that I didn't have to straighten you (others did) :-). It is something which doesn't involve a FFL, so it isn't really something that a FFL should know about as it doesn't affect their business.
