Unhinged Customer - PSA

As most of you know we are by appointment only. I had an unhinged (ex)customer come in today about 7 hours early for his appointment - demanding his firearm. Keep in mind I'm in shared office space. He starts giving attitude to the receptionist. My wife was working and offered to take care of him if he would wait since she had a couple of existing appointments to attend to. He was very unhappy and our landlord asked him to sit outside (just outside our front door). As this person was walking he he turned around and punched my landlord ... landlord is pressing charges, we refunded him and will no longer be dealing with him.

If you are in the bay area and wish to avoid this customer please PM me and I will provide his name. I have no reason to out him in public. Up until now he was just a curmudgeony older guy still using an old school flip phone. Today he crossed the line (clearly) and I have no idea why. Just wanted to provide a heads up if anyone cared.

I know some people don't care as long as his money is green, etc.., but if he got unhinged with us he may just assault one of your employees (or you) if he doesn't get his way.

One way to enforce societal behavior standards is to refuse to do business with people who won't treat you with respect. Maybe they will "get it" when service is frequently denied them.

I have to do this sometimes.

Dude I sent a guys rifles back a few weeks ago because he was an A hole to me on the phone. Look here's my $.02 if you can't act civil I don't have to sell you a gun. You may have the constitutional right to your arms, but I have the right to not participate in selling them to you if you're an a hole.

I did the same with a PPT whose car reg was post dated. He screamed about 2A rights blah blah and I said I could escort him out, cancel his DROS, one step at a time or 4 steps at a time. (We are upstairs)

They are both fine, thanks. Landlord is more pissed and I'm currently not sure the fate of my lease renewal -- they haven't mentioned anything negative, but you never know.
