It looks like the site is crashing again today, you guys experiencing similar issues?

Its been intermittently off today. It hasn't been a major issue today though.

Most likely it will be unstable unless and until they make changes. I suspect it is best to document when you are having problems. There could also be issues with multiple purchases since if the web site goes down in between DROS submission, you will get additional DROS charges.

Why are you closed? Just curious? Do you only open certain days of the week or is it shop vacation time?

We've had a sign up at the store for years saying if it goes offline, power outage, internet stops, zombies attack that we won't cover the $25 charge to DROS another firearm. Its on you!!!

Good idea, but I have gone after the CA DOJ and pushed them until I got the credit as it is their fault. Takes a lot of time, but makes a point.

I tried once when it messed up. I asked for a refund and they sent me back an email saying that their system wasn't experiencing any issues at that time so it must have been my fault. I had already done 2 receivers for the same customer and was on receiver 3. I told them obviously this was supposed to be the same transaction but their system kicked me off. DROS 1&2 were about 2 min apart and DROS 3 was 5 minutes after that. They didn't care. After that I put up the sign. My current phrase is call your state assembly or senator and complain.

Never got a credit either for my C&R licensee who was denied his modern pistol purchase, refer to that thread about that whole issue. This is even after my field rep said he should not have been denied. In this case we collected his $25 on the premise that if I get a refund I will give it back to him (or credit his next transfer, he's here a lot) I check my invoice each month, nothing. They just took the money and ran.

That is their stock answer, you have to keep bugging them until they decide it is easier to credit the money than to continue to fight it.

If you could fire them, then the problem would be solved much quicker.

There is a means to reduce the amount to pay, but I suspect that would just result in your account being disabled.

It is a bad situation and I don't see it getting any better.

Open all weekend. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
