Yeah, I'm back up too. I'm kind of scared to tell the Marines to drive down from the base. It's a good 40 min drive and I would hate to have it crashed again when they show back up.

If opening the AW reg crashed the system this bad what's going to happen when they try and process ammo reg? How do we plan for outages like this?

F! Just got boned by the DES, went to submit and it was "web page can't be displayed" all over my screen. I'm getting tired of the DOJ messing like this.

Federal Firearm Licensees do not have the ability to release lawfully purchased property because a state's computer network is down.

Rights delayed are rights denied. CA's process is prohibiting Federal Licensees from commerce.

Does this not present an opportunity for CA based FFLs and their customers to sue CA at the Federal level?

Wouldn't a suit with some teeth kill the 10 day wait since the nics is returned before the buyer leaves the store after filling out the 4473?

The state delaying/denying rights one minute past 240 hours seems like a slam dunk violation at the Federal level.

The delivery thing is the real problem. I don't want to tell people to drive in only to have the system cough up another fur ball when they get here. DOJ could at least give us an idea of what the problem is. We need to have something to tell customers. Day two of telling them DOJ is down, no we don't know why, no DOJ won't tell us when it's coming back, and no there is no work around (because DOJ says the system won't crash) isn't working really well for us. Even pretty laid back customers are getting a little testy now.

As for the lawsuit, I would be willing to do it, but honestly who is going to take this on with all the rest of the stuff we have to fight post election.

Lol, I've had three phone calls from customers at other FFL'S asking if our DROS system was down too because they didn't believe their FFL was telling the truth.

CFARS, FSC, Roster, DES all down. Think all the AW registrations killed their servers.

This or their internet pipe is being overloaded with many people looking at the AW Reg site.

I got all mine done before we left for the day. I had one guy who was super pissed when I told him the DES has been down intermittently all day, and should it go offline there's nothing I can do about it. He acted like it was my fault. I just pointed to the sign on the computer and told him to contact his state senator or assembly.
