How do we know the DROS can be delivered? What if there was a glitch and they were delayed or denied and we were not notified?

I had a denial notice once 1 hour before release. Had to tell customer when they showed up to pickup that they were denied.

BINGO. I'll admit it. Sucks because even though I may not agree with their laws I will still follow them. Hoever they make it such a slippery slope I guarantee we can all be arrested for things we inadvertently have done.

When your girlfriend gets arrested and spends three days in jail for possessing a handgun that was not only DROS'ed to her, but also went through a LEGR process, you tend to be a little gun shy when it comes to the DOJ. Charges were dropped, but she had to spend three days in jail.....

Never to us, but what says it can't? Can you imagine logging back in later and seeing a denial or delayed? I don't want to have to make that call to the DOJ.

I delivered a gun on day ten and they sent a deny two days later. It wasn't a big deal. I just called the guy back and asked him to bring it back. They wanted me to call the cops.

It was a Kern County Fire Captain with a no bail grand theft auto warrant out of Fresno County. Mistaken identity! The worst part for him was having to tell his wife he found all this out with during a secret gun buy. Hopefully they joke about it today.

I think that's a little different since when you released it was "Approved"...that's a little different then logging back into DES and seeing "Denied" and telling the DOJ/ATF you released on Denied..

She had a low level F5 felony in Ohio about 20 years ago. It was BS rap for "complicity to theft", but was an F5 due to the dollar amount over $1K. Her rights were restored and she had no issues with the law since. I gave her an S&W snubbie a few years ago and she went through the DROS process with no problems. later, in an unrelated incident, her gun was (illegally) seized when she wasn't even home. She got it back after doing a LEGR. (SECOND background check) A bit over a year ago she gets a knock on the door by DOJ asking about the gun. They seized it and arrested her for felon in possession of a firearm. After numerous court appearance over a year's time, they dropped the charges. Still haven't gotten the gun back and we are still unsure about her eligibility. She was swept up by DOJ's APPS (armed prohibited purchasers system). This is the out of control program that has been looting the DROS fees paid by CA gun buyers.

FYI, during a ATF audit I was advised the NEVER white out your A&D book. They consider it a Federal document. They suggested to line out (single line)
whatever and make any necessary changes. Guess they want to see what your changing...

10% is screwing with us What you say is correct as well though. Same with the 4473s as well.
