I freely admit to knowing very little about single action revolvers, but my impression was that single action revolvers were exempt from the roster if they (borrowed from a previous Calguns post) fell within:
Single-action Revolvers, capable of holding 5 or more rounds, with 3” minimum barrel length and 7.5”
minimum overall length when assembled.

If the above are the only criteria, then it seems there are a number of options out there in 44.40
