I hate USPS. I had an item that was supposed to arrive Friday, it bows show delayed until Thursday. Shows got to my town. How does that make a 4 day delay?! Morons. At least your package got there

From what we can tell the item was packed pretty good with thicker packing material and there was bubble wrap and shipping material inside, it appears the top part of the box was ripped off somehow during transit.

Looks like a janky pack job to me.

Janky is one of my favorite words. I have had horror stories with all 3 of the major shippers. Pack well, tape well, insure, and hope for the best. In the 2012 halcyon era of dirt cheap Mosins and SKS's, I'd get some comically sorry boxes, even from commercial FFL's.

One of my employees shipped an important package via USPS right before an event we were putting on despite the fact we have a UPS account and he could've done it a lot easier.

Anyway, I'm standing there with 15 people all around me and I'm about to hand out these booklets he shipped out and give a little speech. He opens the box and there are only 3 of about 20 booklets, some diabetic pancake batter mix, feminine products, and a couple bottles of prenatal vitamins.

On the side of the box hand-written in pencil on a sticker about the size of a envelope stamp was "package damaged during shipping".

So, they must've had a major foul-up somewhere along the line, scooped a bunch of crap up off the floor and just stuffed it all in random boxes, re-taped, and continued on like nothing ever happened.

Gotta love it.

Really? As far as I know ATF only cares if it gets lost or stolen.

Not USPS package related, but letter related... I'm in Fremont and was mailing a Fremont customer a check. It took 8 days and routed through Oakland before it got to him. No idea what happened.. in the meantime I had used USPS to ship a package to the east coast and that got there faster than the envelope that should have never left Fremont.
