Couple issues here and need to know how you other stores are handling the petitions.

Are you designating a spot for them? Have you seen extra people coming by just so they can sign? Have you had any gun customers say they didn't want to sign it? How successful have you been in collecting signatures? We just got ours about 2 hours ago and its already rocking and rolling. Thanks for the input. Trying to see if we are going to have to schedule a few extra shifts just to handle these things. Let me know what other FFLs are doing to keep on top of these things.

Unfortunate to hear that, hopefully they weren't registered voters anyways. The Sacramento shops have been packed and a few are running low after only a few days. Big box stores are signing on now too. We will get the number we need to submit to the state for validation, even without the naysayers.

We are officially starting today. That being said we have had a lot of emails and phone calls asking about them. For some reason the other shops in my area arn't providing the petitions.

We have a section of counter set up for these. Because of our location we are handling petitions for both Riverside and San Bernardino county. This makes it a little more complicated making sure people sign the correct one. We also have a lot of people from the base and need to make sure they are registered to vote here. I've scheduled an extra guy for this week to help cover this. If we still see the demand after the first rush I will keep him on. A little costly for me but worth it if we can get the signatures.

Does your county allow online voter registration ? Have them get on their smartphone and register on the spot

Getting plenty of calls from the website about these and we are getting all our usual customers to sign plus some walk in customers we just ask and they do it.

You guy's are awesome. I'm doing two Riverside and San Bernardino and that gets hetic.

Lol, we lost our entire phone system go out over the last few days. I had 4 phone company repairmen and one supervisor in the shop working on it for hours today. Lol, we got all of them to sign before they left.
