We were inspired by Iraqveteran8888 on youtube and made a list of our own "gun gripes" based on circumstances that have actually happened to us here at the shop. We're not trying to bash anybody in particular, but more poking fun at a general situation. I'm sure that everybody can add a few things to our list and have dealt with some of these same issues.

We've noticed a lot of gripes recently here in the FFL's forum about certain FFLs so now its our time to gripe back about some of the stuff we get blamed for. So here is our list of "It's not our fault when...." Enjoy.

Follow up real quick. Here is a quick list of things that are our fault.

1. Our ink pads are a little dry

2. Our pens are out of ink.

3. Our printer jams and I have to reprint your DROS

4. Our 19 year old employee tries to give gun advice.

5. Its summertime and its a little warm inside the shop.

6. My snap caps are worn and the 9mm doesn't like to extract easily.

7. It takes 3 minutes to find your 4473 in a stack of 100 Dros packets.

8. Our internet is slow. (sort of our fault, part Verizon, our DSL here is awful)

9. I forget to highlight your earliest pick up date on your DROS copy.

10. My stapler is out of staples and I need to do a tactical reload.

Not sure about my knowledge on the sales tax part though. I'll have to look into that further. It's only certain conditions, correct?

I think Kemasa posted a sticky about sales tax. In about 90% of our interstate transfers we have to collect sales tax. There's a few exceptions and the sticky should address that.

Sorry. it was 10% who posted it. Gotta give credit where its due.

My HSC card does not expire until the middle of 2017. I used it to buy a handgun a few weeks ago. You can still accept a valid HSC card for a handgun purchase, just not for a rifle.

Poorly worded I guess. I was referencing the fact that people in December 2014 purchased HSC cards then in January had to buy FSC's for their long guns.

And yes, you're right, we take HSC cards still all the time for handgun purchases.

Cool. And I totally agree with all your gripes about stupid customers. I sold guns from 2012-2014... Ran into some real piles of humanoid douchebaggery.

We get a few customers who ask about the guns, then inform us they cant own one because they're felons. Guns are only a small part of what we do so we get all types of people through here.

Not griping here about customers. Just the common situations that we see all the time that make us question our sanity.
