Question on Timing of DROS

The only real issue is hsc only on handguns of course is all firearms now but what would you preview if u don't input all the information serial number make model etc. If it don't let u preview

You would put all the info in. You're just storing the firearm for your customer in the case of a 1 and 30 issue.

Heck I have guys with boxes in the lock up with their name on it. Most of the time each customer will have at least 3 guns "waiting".

So u have a customer waiting for 3 months to get 1 gun? Mine would be being appt only having to order is them fill one out so they don't make mutiple trips

I have customers waiting 30 days before they can DROS the next gun. They normally find another they want before the 30 days is up. The most I have had was 10 months backed up for one guy.

It's fun at the end of 30 days watching them try and choose what gun to break out next. Do you want the newest one, maybe the oldest in the pile, maybe another?

Ya thats,whst I meant lol. See I would use it for people who order guns and and won't have to come in days later since I'm not stocking dealer

If you do this you may want to confirm with the customer that they don't need to inspect the firearm. I always want the customer to see the firearm before DROS starts so that they can address any issues if they exist. This does include anything NIB as well. I've seen Glock site defects a few years ago as well as some pretty banged up S&W revolvers that customers didn't want. I wouldn't want them seeing it the "first time" when they were picking up and have to eat the DROS fee.
