Twice this has happened to me. First time guy buys and pays for four Ruger Single-Tens and a M1A Scout. He, his wife, daughter, and son-in-law are going to DROS a Single-Ten apiece. He is also doing the M1A himself. He gets a delay and freaks out...doesn't want anything to do with the DOJ. His wife, daughter, and son-in-law have no issues. I have the M1A and the last Single-Ten. I repeatedly email him to see what we can do to resolve this...silence. I sent him a registered letter telling him I will refund much of the money he paid for the M1A and Single-Ten if he will just contact me...more silence. That was in early 2012.

Second time I transferred two expensive lowers for a Corrections Officer. He went past his 30 days and told me he'd come back and re-DROS. Never heard from him again. Still have his lowers after repeated attempts to contact him. This was early 2014.

I put the M1A in my name but still have the Single-Ten and two lowers in the safe. If someone wants to buy them I will not hesitate to sell them.
