Still haven't been able to connect with DOJ. The 10 day is up and it does say I can deliver the rifle.

SMH, no way you can deliver that in good conscience. Can you imagine the S**T storm that would hit the news should prohibited party get that firearm and use it in a crime. It would be a nightmare.

I'm not SMH at you by the way, its directed north toward Sacramento and all the powers that be at the DOJ.

Still couldn't connect with the phone # listed on the notice so I took your advice to submit the issue through the DES system. Received a response to contact some 800 phone # for assistance. Called and explained the issue and she said she will need to check with the analyst that reviewed the DROS and they will call me back...

Buyer actually let me know that he already received the notice in the mail regarding the reason of the pistol denial. He had a DUI less than a year ago and he is still in the process of taking care of it.

That must have been one hell of a DUI. Normally DUI is not a prohibiting arrest, unless it's felony DUI.

Update: Never heard back from DOJ so called the helpline again and was placed on hold for a few minutes and she came back and said it was a good catch on my part and they will be denying the rifle DROS.
