    Lying is intentional deceit, which wasn't the case here.
    God stayed true to his character by showing mercy when people repented.

      @ darto: that's what you call Mercy and Grace not lying . God relented because they (nineveh) repented. God gives warnings and time to repent before destruction/judgement.

      Abraham found favor in God's eyes so Mercy was granted to 10 righteous people but couldn't be found. only lot and his family survived the judgement.

        Wow, Darto you are off base by miles. I?ll respond later, but to say God lies is to say God is not God. You may want to rethink your profound thoughts if you are a believer.
