When Peter addressed the crowd, he was suddenly interrupted by people fearing their salvation, and they asked Peter, “what should we do”?

          Romans 10:9 (niv84)
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

          Peter addresses the crowd:
          Acts 2:36-40 (niv84)
Acts 2:36 - "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

Acts 2:37 - When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"

Acts 2:38 - Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:39 - The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off - for all whom the Lord our God will call."

Acts 2:40 - With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation."

If you have been alerted to the status of your salvation, and you’re in a panic, know that you don’t have to be. Call out to God, repent, and put your trust in Jesus Christ and you will be adopted into his family totally and forever.

          Now, go serve your King!

I am requesting prayers for a possible terminal illness. My name is Adam and I have not been on the forum for a while. I've been experiencing odd symptoms for the last 5-6 months and my doctors don't have any answers. I had been wayward in following Christ but you can imagine that I have come running back. I have repented of all known sin, but I am still struggling with confidence in my acceptance in Him.

Thank you all who have taken the time to read this and pray for me. God's love be on you all.

From one Adam to another: my cancer may have returned, and I know with every recurrence treatment options diminish. None of us know how much time we have, so use it wisely. If we are wise with what we are given, we will be rewarded. The Lord is faithful and just.
