(04/24) update:

Hi guys. I just wanted to update this thread and thank you all for praying for me. As far as my health is concerned, I have made a recovery of sorts since October of last year. Probably more like late November. The doctors have no answers. on paper, I seem perfectly healthy. Spiritually, this is been a purging time. 2023 was the best and worst year of my life. Excruciating yet cleansing. I was 98% sure this December was going to be my last Christmas. God be praised for his mercy. I feel as though I might be on step number two out of 20, But I?m not going back to the way I was a year ago. Thank you again for your kindness and concern. I never thought I would use this form in this capacity, but here we are and it?s good.

The host of that podcast, Todd Friel, gets questions about assurance a lot and his answer is that the fact if it?s important to you and you are truly concerned about it, many times that is the answer if you are truly saved.

if you are truly repentant, you turn away from you sin, you accept Jesus as your Savior, you can be assured of your salvation. be confident that nothing will separate you from the love of God. Hang in there and focus on the Lord.
