What scripture inspired you today?

We all need a little encouragement from time to time to dive into scripture. 15 Minutes a day to devote to reading or listening to the word of God can feel impossible sometimes with life crushing in. Let's help each other out, so I ask you what scripture did you need to hear or was encouraging today?


I was assigned Psalms 119:105 for bib!e study this week. It's one of my favourites:

This is not just today but frequently: 2nd Peter chap 1, vs 1 thru 12. If you do/have these things you never fall. I went over that again just this passed sunday morning.

Your Scripture verse has extra meaning for me. I was overseas, walking a post all alone, and I was wanting to follow God. I started praying, and part of my prayers was asking God to be a lamp and guide my feet. Later when I read that Scripture, it was confirmation that I was on the right path.

I also like the texts and verses that tell of HIS desire to be our Heavenly Father, yes HE desires that we recognize HE wanted a family, its AWESOME to me that HE IS my Father in Heaven ! AND one day I will get to see HIM face to face !

I get various daily Bible verse feeds. I'm blown away by how often the verses I receive speak to what is happening in my life at the moment. The Word is simply amazing. It's real.

though corruption, depravity and violence are rising, the more excited i am and anticipating the sudden call from the Lord "Come Up Hither." for these signs are pointing to the soon return of our King.
