I always refrain from drinking during lent. This year I'm trying a fasting \ protein diet with no sweets. My wife has cooked all my favorites in the past few days! It's been so tempting meat loaf and mashed potatoes, homemade cookies, biscuits and gravy. Then I think what a small sacrifice to tournaments me compared to Jesus sacrifice for me.

At first I was a little upset at my wife but now I thank her.

        Like temptation in the desert.

Last year I gave up smoking for lent. Year before that I gave up FB.

Agreed, I'm only in a week and it's a blessing.
