It seems that you question God's ability to bring peace to a nation or direct the actions of non-believers.

I DO NOT question God's ability to do anything, just remember WE the people in this country got involved in multiple wars overseas or across the southern border righteously or whatever. Yes millions of prayers were sent to heaven, and hundreds of thousands of men died DEAD ! Take a read at the verse in Proverbs were the Lord speaks of turning the heart of the king which ever way HE desires like the rivers of water. Look for it, you'll find it. HE can and does do so, from time to time, but not all of or every time people want or, are forced into war !

There is a "war" in the spiritual realm. That war extends into our "reality".

Good vs. evil. Right vs. wrong. Freedom vs. slavery (Galatians).

Paul described having to each day go to war against his own sinful nature - it starts there. I believe we are all called to "start in Jerusalem" - meaning to exert that fight against sin/evil/wrong/slavery each day right where we ARE, with the tools of the Spirit we are provided with, the Gospel being a powerful tool that makes changes we often cannot fathom.

But I think what you're asking is what are we to do when sin/evil/wrong/slavery comes at us in our earthly realm... I would suggest that if you are prepared per the above, the answers will come more easily and naturally? Fear no evil.

As a believer, this is only a temporary condition, and we know in the end how it comes out. Make your choices in accordance with that, so that you'll have the least amount to be ashamed of when you are called to answer, even though you'll be "covered" in Christ!

Viewed in this context, I am at war with sin on a daily basis (I suspect all of us are).

Brother Breezy - I don't believe you will find judgment for your sincere question or views, but rather a healthy dialogue with other believers.

Thanks for posting the question - I wonder about the answer sometimes during these dark days.

          Stay frosty!

            If so, what books/chapters/verses?

            Short answer; yes.

The Bible answers that question as God dictates the limitations. You have to decide that for yourself.
