Does God exist ? some scientists think so.

yeah, this was bound to happen. some elite physicists, phd's and other scientists stepping back and looking at the big picture.

Makes sense to me that creation as we observe it would not likely have occurred from random chaos given most reasonable mathematical computations of any statistical reality.

However those who reject that will always say that an infinite number of chances multiplied infinitely by more infinite chances will eventually have provided the current result of life and universe as we observe it.

I guess it comes down to intelligent/compassionate design vs unintelligent/random chance i.e., God vs a infinite number monkeys banging on a infinite number of typewriters for infinity will eventually compose by chance all of Shakespeare's literary works of genius without even knowing it.

All scientists use time... Time is based on Christ. The year is 2017 AD

There's an idea circulating around the major media that our universe is a computer simulation. If this is true, what are the implications for the identity and nature of God?

                Why not?
We will soon be able to uplink human consciousness to computer simulations.

Considering that it's possible, and that it will eventually happen, what are the chances it hasn't happened already?

1 physical world, but thousands of simlulations. Possibly hundreds of thousands if not millions by some point.

These simulations will eventually cost next to nothing as computing power grows.

We are either in a simulation, will generate simulations soon, or our civilization dies off first. One of three options.

Can't get something from nothing. It violates the second law of thermodynamics and the laws of non-contradiction.

not sure if you're using tongue and cheek here, but it sounds silly. Say it with your lips to see how it sounds

Atheists and academics tend to use "Common Era" (CE) and "Before Common Era" (BCE) in place of A.D./B.C.

Check out Dr. John Lennox. This is the guy that took on Dawkins... And this is the guy that is challenging the current crop of progressives that suggest science has explained away God.

Quantum mechanical fluctuation is the scientific explanation for "something from nothing."
