It`s funny to me to see how angry an atheist is over a God they don`t believe in.` -Jack Hibbs

One in essence, being, but not one in person or roles (e.g. Ephesians 1:3). Salvation is ONLY in/through Jesus Christ (Acts 4:11 - no other name). God the Father gave us His Son for our salvation (John 3:16). So, we are not saved through the Father, through the Holy Spirit, through any church, through any act (e.g. baptism, going to church, being "good," being a calvinist
) or anything anything anything... other than through Jesus Christ.
Pastor Bill
"Unless I am convinced by Scripture and plain reason- I do not accept the authority of popes and councils [i.e. any man]- my conscience is captive to the Word of God." Martin LutherComment

Buddy you're not understanding what you're reading in the bible. Again God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are The Triune Godhead. The Trinity.One in essence, being, but not one in person or roles (e.g. Ephesians 1:3). Salvation is ONLY in/through Jesus Christ (Acts 4:11 - no other name). -2 Peter 1:1
"Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:"
(Key passage: "...God AND Savior, Jesus Christ").
-Titus 2:13
"looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,"
(Key passage: "...our great God AND Savior, Christ Jesus,")
-In Revelation 1:8 the Lord God says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."
-In Revelation 22:13, Jesus applies these self same words ("Alpha and Omega") to nobody but Himself! He says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
Again,,,, God is Jesus, Jesus is God in the flesh. I could go on, but there's no further point to be made because the bible clearly details this through and through.
Know and learn correctly the art of biblical interpretation and you'll better understand what's presented to you in the 66 books.

How do you know that man bless her, not God ? Have "God" discuss it with you directly so you know His position regarding her

You still believe John, he's nothing but a mere mortal. Granted he was one of apostles but come on, he's human and no guarantee he spoke what Jesus teach.One in essence, being, but not one in person or roles (e.g. Ephesians 1:3). Salvation ? What's salvation ? Is it the one that define by human, or expert (s). Which salvation are you talking about ?The Bible defines saint as one who is 'sanctified' or 'set apart'. Saints in scripture were not good people;
We all sin. But Saints were those living who accepted Gods grace;
Col 1:2To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
Catholic Doctrine has redefined Saint to fit their narrative. Catholicism does not look to scripture for authority, its authority is from the Catholic Cannon and tradition with its most ultimate authority from the Pope.
Good works will not earn your salvation, obedience to God saves you!Comment

And what's wrong with selling hopes ? Osteen and all his kinds were simply selling product namely hope. People buying it the same way people buying carsYup. The "word of faith" movement is also another aspect of false teachings in churches these days. Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, TD Jakes etc... Are all just some prime examples of being professionals of "scripTORTURE." If you listen to Osteen and Meyer for a mere 5 minutes, you quickly discover that their messages are always the same. It's all about "feeling good" and "God wants you to be healthy, happy, successful, wealthy, fruitful....etc...." You name it and those charlatans will tell you everything "God wants you to have."
Osteen at the end of every "sermon," even says: "He'll (God presumably) take you places you've never dreamed before."
Nothing could be further from the truth. God never said we would be "healthy, wealthy, prosperous, successful, fruitful, etc..... He only tells us through the bible how we can be saved through Jesus' work on the cross for us.Comment

Bill is quite correct. The Trinity is 3 personae, and one ouzio. Jesus is not the Father. The Father is not the Son. The Father and the Son are not the Holy Spirit. Yet they are all the same God. I take it you are not Orthodox Christian. Would you mind if I asked from what background you come from?Buddy you're not understanding what you're reading in the bible. What's "wrong" with "selling hopes" you ask??? Well first off and from a Christian standpoint, the practice of Joel Osteen is NOT biblical.
Osteen as well as countless others are false teacher that distort the bible horribly. His "teachings" are rift with sophistry and obfuscation. Hope is free to all who desire it from Jesus. But don't take my words for it, let's look what Paul said in his letters to Timothy and Corinthians, about the "Osteens of the world:
2 Timothy 4:3-4
3-For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4-They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
Paul calls those false teachers, "angels of light".....
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
...and what Peter said:
2 Peter 2:1-2
1-"But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2-Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute."sigpic

It doesn't matter what "Bill" nor even I say... It's what's in the bible. Reread the passages I already posted. "God AND Savior, Jesus Christ." How much more clarity does one need?Bill is quite correct. The Trinity is 3 personae, and one ouzio. Jesus is not the Father. The Father is not the Son. Yes I agree, to recoin the phrase "one what and three who's." I do recognize that each within the Trnity are distinct to the one God. But for someone to say that Jesus is not God, is not correct. That's what I was trying to clarify.

Who said Jesus wasn't God? The last few posts clarified that the three persons of the trinity make up God.It doesn't matter what "Bill" nor even I say... It's what's in the bible. Reread the passages I already posted. "God AND Savior, Jesus Christ." How much more clarity does one need?

This is out and out heresy. If the scriptures are not inerrant then we have nothing to stand on. The scriptures are God Breathed. What John wrote is the Breath of the Holy Spirit and divinely protected. You are in deep error friend.Psalm 103
